Hello friends I’m back from Vegas. Soy sauce soup and healthy Oatmeal Cookies! 5/30/15

Hello Friends, I have been away flaunting my newly refreshed body all over the place lately… Needless to say, I’m not exactly pre baby body yet, but I’ve come a loooooong way baby!! WOOO HOOO! This has been one heck of a journey and I am thrilled beyond measure that I am FINALLY beginning to reap the rewards of feeling healthier and fitter than I have in over a YEAR! Not to mention the visual aspect of it all is quite pleasing as well… THANK THE GOOD LORD! 😉

Our trip to beautiful Las Vegas Nevada last week didn’t let me down. I had a marvelous time hanging out with incredible people and enjoying myself to the absolute fullest. I’m sure you are all wondering how my first drinking adventure went after not indulging in even a drop of the alcoholic, heavenly goodness, I deprived myself of for over 50 days went Eh??? Well…. Let’s just say this ( in the most snooty debonair voice you can imagine) It was NOT good darling…. NOT good…… Ouch! Looking back in retrospect, I should have probably started conditioning my liver for a drinking relay race a few weeks earlier….

Nonetheless, I survived… Even if it meant coming home at 10:30pm on Friday night and passing out on a very comfortable bed even before the real party even began… PARTY FOUL to the fullest… Oops… Besides drinking soy sauce out of a bowl thinking it was miso soup, I heard it ended well… Meaning I was escorted home by my VERY patient and incredible husband Kris… (can’t say sorry enough)… :/ SHUCKS! Anyway the rest of the weekend went fantastically, and I made sure to monitor my beverage consumption like a ninja! Meaning, I still had fun but was drinking water, juice, and soda in between adult beverages like a secret spy! I couldn’t be unaware of the danger alcohol could do to a freshly cleansed body and LIVER! The rest of the week was filled with laughter, parties, great outfits, and fun. I’m proud to say I remember it all, and will cherish the memories for a lifetime.. Now, with all of that being said….

This week has also been a blur. I managed to get to a major workout with Scott Samuels on Thursday morning at PushDT and I thought I was going to die!!! However, I DIDN’T , so thank the Lord again for that! I cramped up so badly  in my right leg and glute that I had  to stop a few times and roll out on a foam roller. Geeeze Vegas was still having it’s way with me even after a few days after being home!  I have now been recovering with vitamin’s, electrolytes, good carbohydrates, and H2O to get back to baseline. I look forward to seeing what the future of my workouts and great eating reward me with!

This coming week has a lot in store for the Kallstrom houshold. We are expecting our new “live in Nanny” and long time family friend Christina, from Germany! She will be living with us for the next three months, helping me with the children, babysitting when needed, and enjoying life with the Kallstroms!  I pray we all have the most wonderfully productive and rewarding time together!

After coming home and being thoroughly depleted, all I wanted to consume were carbohydrate filled sweet yummies… So naturally I couldn’t go out and buy sugary products…. Soooooo I produced my own DELICIOUS cookies that I devoured with wreck less abandon!  They were delicious and hit me in all the right spots. I will be sharing the recipe with you as soon as this post is over….

ANNNNND it’s OVER….
