Hi guys, so I truly apologize that I haven’t been posting my recipes. I keep getting messages from you all asking for me to post them!! We have been filming the recipes and they were supposed to start going up WEEKS ago, but the director has not been able to complete, edit, and put them up yet. Soooooo I will go back to my old school way of just taking photos and posting the recipe manually on here for you! 🙂
I made a SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE delicious dessert on Sunday night, Chia Seed Dessert. It was the perfect ending to a long day of exercise and writing the blog. I hope you all try this recipe and enjoy it as much as I do! I choose Chia Seed dessert when craving something sweet because chia seeds are stacked with nutrients and loaded with antioxidants. Chia seeds are high in protein and almost all of the carbs in them are fiber, thus aiding us in losing weight! Tell me what you think!
Ingredients:
- 3 cups unsweetened coconut milk
- 2/3 cups Chia Seeds
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- 3 table spoons of organic honey OR 1.5 tsp. of truvia or stevia (what I use)
- Sliced strawberries
- Whip Cream
Next whisk all ingredients together and transfer into small bowls, and put in the refrigerator to chill for at least an hour. Top with fresh berries and whip cream, and enjoy!!
