There is no such thing as a “Failure”.. 3/12/15

Hi all! Well today has been filled with WALKING, WALKING, and more WALKING!! Chelsea, the girls and I packed up and went for a 12 mile walk! It was really nice to roll all around town getting fresh air and burning calories! I really miss my long adventurous walks lately, and if the weather stays nice, I will be doing them as often as I can!

I stepped on the scale today and covered my eyes, making Chelsea read the numbers that popped up. I haven’t budged an ounce I am still 183… I have completely come to a stand still since my last weeks gain of 3lbs! I have hit a tiny plateau, and am reminding myself that this sort of thing happens, it happens to all of us, and therefore we can all relate.

All we can do is pick our selves up, brush our selves off, and start all over again. It’s those of us that get back up after being battered and bruised and do it all over that are the winners. Just in starting and trying again you are already successful.

Sometimes things don’t always work out the way we thought they would. One of my Mom’s favorite things to say is ” The sure fire way to make God laugh is to tell him your plans”….. I guess it’s just a more lighthearted way of describing “Murphy’s law”… I believe we are all divinely guide, so whatever your goal is in life, maybe its fitness, or maybe it is something entirely different. Whatever it is, as long as you focus on your goals, and listen to your subconscious ( that little feeling in your gut) you will never go wrong.

Sometimes the BIGGEST blessings come from our greatest sadness or “failure’s”, and I put that in “QUOTES” because there truly is NO FAILURE, everything is a lesson and it’s how we choose to view and internalize those lessons that mold us into the human being God wants us to be. So whoever is reading this tonight, I encourage you to follow your dreams and if your dream entails being healthy and fit, do it. Even if the journey seems endless, and you find yourself falling down more than running around, know that we all have these days and it’s okay, just keep going!  If your goal is something entirely different, the moral of the story is still the same. Never give up on your goals and aspirations, if you focus your energy on your goal and make choices that drive you towards it, you are a WINNER already.

I look forward to checking in with all of you on Sunday, and until then have a great week! I would like to end with a Quote by John Lennon. “Everything will be okay in the end, If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.”

  1. I love you so much! Stress can also screw everything up, and you have
had a little stress going on, to put it lightly! (NO PUN! But that is pretty funny!) Hang in there and as soon as things are back to normal, (whatever Normal is, lol) the weight is going to just fall off! Kiss Kris and my baby girls! xoxoxo

  2. Often, a major roadblock to eating healthy has been too busy to cook.

The simple solution using this issue is so that you can change her or his eating habits, avoid overeating yourself and you must avoid taking meals which are full of fats and calories.
We desire to explain to teens and also have them see the great things about healthy living generally and different
    habits to remain fit.

  3. I do not even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was good.
I do not know who you are but definitely you’re going to a famous
blogger if you are not already 😉 Cheers!

  4. I blog often and I really appreciate your content.
