Workout check in! 1/21/15

Hello everyone! It’s Wednesday night, and I just got home from a long brisk walk, I managed to go 6.89 miles.  I would have liked to go longer but it got dark and even though I had the kiddo’s bundled up like snow bunnies, it was getting colder outside and I wanted to get home to make dinner as well. Tonight I’m making “egg pizza” a recipe I will share with you next week!

I have to say that I was kind of bummed that I was not able to go to the gym this morning due to lack of babysitting, and my husband Kris was working. However, I at least got moving on my walk. Again Kris has to be at work bright and early tomorrow, so this big ole’ momma is going to get up at the crack of dawn and try to head in there in the early morning  just to bang out some cardio! I will keep you posted on what exercises I do tomorrow.

Be on the lookout for my Fat burning, detoxifying, lemonade water recipe that I will be posting tomorrow, I can’t wait to share this magical elixir of fat burning, tongue tingling, deliciousness! I drink it each and every morning and sometimes throughout the day.  I look forward to see how you all like the lemonade, and hopefully you will all try making it yourself!

Below is one of my favorite quotes ever, it was said by Audry Hepburn, and I think about these wise words all the time. Keep going my friends, get up, get moving, even if you just to 20 hot laps around your house, or run up and down the stairs 5 times to get your heart rate up! Remember EVERYTHING counts! It’s possible, because  I’M POSSIBLE! I look forward to checking in tomorrow with my lemonade directions, until then health and love!

  1. A little walking never hurt nobody and don’t be mad you didn’t make it to the gym. I lost all of my baby weight with Peyton walking the day after they told me I could be active after pregnancy. Plus you get to bond with the kiddos

    1. Thank you Lauren my love, and I agree it may not be my “Navy Seal” style training that I was doing with my trainer, and will eventually do again, but it’s great aerobic exercise! I love the conversations I have with my walking partner, and it’s really cute to listen to Lillianna chatter about the world around her. I have to admit it is one of my favorite types of activities to partake in, it is an amazing stress reliever. Thank you so much for posting and I can’t wait to meet that new little girl of yours, I hope you’re feeling better and I’m always loving you from afar my glamorous Hollywood wifey!

  2. Good job Mamma. Way to make it work even on the difficult days. This is very inspirational to me, as sometimes, I feel I can only make time for myself when all the stars are aligned. I’m gonna make it work today too! love you.

    1. Good girl Nicolina! Yes, I know how you put yourself on the back burner (in a very loving and sweet way) to the kids. I walked 5-8 miles a day up until I was 8 months pregnant with Madelynn, and I made a world of difference! You can do it, put those boys in the double stroller and push them around the neighborhood! 🙂 I love you and miss you, so thankful you are following along! xoxo
